Overpressure Relief Valve

Overpressure Relief Valves can often be over looked but are an essential safety component in protecting the fluid distribution system downstream (this includes pipework, hose reels and dispensing guns).

An installed Overpressure Relief Valve allows for fluid expansion to be controlled – with any expansion vented back to the tank or container.  Fluid expansion will occur with temperature change – and is particularly important where a wide range of temperatures may be experienced.

As the Overpressure Relief Valve is required to operate at all times, they do not require any power or air supply – this ensures uninterrupted protection of the system.

Tecalemit Overpressure Relief Valve feature a leak-proof hex socket screw to adjust and utilises 1/2" female inlet/outlets. Our standard relief valve offers protection for systems between 5-50 Bar (72-725 psi). To ensure safety of the system we preconfigure the relief valves to operate if the system pressure exceeds 40 Bar (580 psi).

Alternatively, Overpressure Relief Valves can be supplied via special order to protect systems between 30-100 bar (435-1450 psi) and can also be supplied in ¾” BSP as well.
